Enough has been said about this film in other places, and since April 2010 it has occupied the World Stage and been seen by thousands of people. This is more than we ever dared to dream about, and everyone involved is hugely grateful and thankful for every single viewing. To say getting Mancattan this far is an understatement to say the least. However, at its simplest, we set out with a few simple questions.

"Is it possible for a few people with an idea, and the passion, to go out and make their own feature film? Will people like it? Will it do well? Can it be done?"

The answer is Yes.

Colin Warhurst - What he did next

Colin Warhurst went onto make the short films Karma and Bog Standard and became the Director of Photography and Editor of the micro-feature film, The Watcher

He also became joint editor (alongside Producer, Chris Lane) of the collaborative independent film website www.northwestnewwave.org.uk and is a regular contributor to the Manchester branch of the Kino movement Filmonik

He is still a film-maker, working as a Camera Operator on films across the UK, and continues to work on his own projects as Writer/Director, or as an Editor and Camera Operator on many exciting film projects being made by the talented folk he knows across the UK.

Phil Drinkwater - What he did next

Phil Drinkwater went onto make the short 'Count Dave' and is now a successful musician in the Electro-Synth band, The Narrows
