Mancattan receives another write up, this time from Feature Film maker Brett Gerry on his rather excellent website www.brettgerry.co.uk
Brett makes it his business to research and comment upon the often sorry state of British Film, but he is also a film-maker himself and so directly understands not only the crazy ambition to helm a feature film independently, and the difficulties therein, but also the conditions into which such films are released.
Like a few of us on the region (see www.northwestnewwave.org.uk) we are trying to change things for the better. In this climate, Brett looks at Mancattan and has a few favourable words to say about our humble (and dare I say audacious?) attempt at creating a Film all by ourselves.
